Analytical Study of Buckling Restrained Braced Frames in Different Seismic Zone Using ETABS

Abstract Tall buildings have unique seismic challenges, particularly the P-delta effect. This can cause an increase in loads on certain parts of structure, leading to potential instability or collapse. The solution is use buckling restrained bracing (BRB) systems, which improve lateral strength structure and control present study aimed determine effectiveness various brace configurations reducing response a 50-story reinforced concrete with focus effects. To achieve this, linear dynamic analysis (response spectrum analysis) was conducted using E-TAB software. selection configuration, however, depends upon zone. For this reason, five distinct (X-pattern, inverted V, forward inclined, zig-zag, bare frame) are considered for different zones.
